MAKE NEWS INTERESTING AGAIN

Jottr is your personal assistant to gather the news youre truly interested in — and banish the articles you never wanted to see! Created by Artificial Intelligence geeks, Jottr is smarter and subtler than your average news app.

The more you share, read or save stories, the more relevant content Jottr will discover for you. On the other hand, if you trash or skip stories, Jottr wont flood your feed with similar content. Instead it watches for patterns in what you read, and throws in some fascinating surprises: bringing you the stuff you like but didn’t even think to search for!

MORE OF WHAT YOU LOVE, LESS OF WHAT YOU DON’T
- Read from more than 2,000 news sources
- Swipe for the next article while Jottr learns your likes automatically
- Easily search for additional topics you want to read about
- Save Jotts for easy reading later
- Block content from publishers you dont want to see
- Share interesting articles via Facebook, Twitter, and more!

AVAILABLE WHEREVER YOU ARE
Jottr works on your laptop and desktop too! Visit your Jottr news feed on the web at https://jottr.ai.

Latest reviews of Jottr - AI News Discovery app for iPhone and iPad

No Titles
This would be a useful app, but contrary to the screenshots of it, it DOES NOT show you the titles of the articles in thumbnail view. It says, By: so and so 12:34pm, updated at 2:14pm or whatever instead. You have to click on the thumbnail pic to see the first few lines of the article to even know what its about, if it even tells you the first few lines of the article, not just the first bits of text that it picks up on the webpage. Selecting articles to view the first bit of text of course, uses this info to create your personalized homepage, which would now be completely skewed by clicking on any picture that looks like something youd want to read, but could be anything because of the lack of titles. Sure you can go and change your preferences yourself, but youd have to update it constantly, I imagine. The one thing this app DOES have going for it is the fact that you can browse anonymously, not having to make an account. Cool concept app, but very poor design. Maybe once they work the bugs out, Ill use this app. But, for now, Ill stick to Reddit -- it may not be pretty, but its functional!
Crashes
This app looked great on paper but constantly crashes on startup on my iPad Pro.
Nowhere Near As Promised
The screen shots indicate "sliders" to build your preferences; they do not exist. The only news I could get was from Australia. Then the app gives you endless notifications on your homescreen. This app is nowhere near ready for prime time.
All the news I read in one place
This app is excellent for two reasons — the vast array of content they have; CNN, Forbes, Huff Post, etc — these are the sites I visit every day any way now they are in one place. The best and probably most powerful reason to use Jottr is how it sorts and shows news to me. I spend a lot of time on sites like CNN but never see new stories I want to read. Jottr’s intelligent platform know the stories I am reading and are able to add new articles to feed from all over the world to my feed in real time! It’s clean design and easy to use UX are addicting, I don’t even check other news outlets anymore, I just check my jottr feed.
App has potential..
but unresponsive and articles are not relevant to topic. Ill download again when the app improves.
